Amathus

About

Amathus, leading drinks retailer, is excited to announce it has opened the doors to its brand-new wine warehouse in East Sheen.

After recently expanding from nine to fourteen drinks stores, including one in Wimbledon, Amathus is delighted to be embarking on its most ambitious concept to date.

The East Sheen store is home to a much larger Amathus format (1,750 sq.ft), where you can browse the most extensive, yet carefully curated, range of wines and spirits. Amathus shelves are stacked from floor to ceiling with hidden gems and tantalising classics providing something for everyone, for every occasion.

With some 800 unique wines from 150 exclusive producers, the warehouse will not only showcase Amathus’ delicious drink range, but also offer regular tastings, masterclasses and events hosted by one of its two Masters of Wine.

A high-end, residential area, East Sheen is the perfect home for Amathus’ new format. From interacting with locals, the team noticed the area was brimming with locals who are knowledgeable about drinks, expressly interested in looking for something special, and are willing to spend more on quality drinks to enjoy at home - not just for dinner parties. Amathus’ East Sheen team is knowledgeable and passionate, and on hand to connect with and educate customers, taking everyone who walks into the store through the personal process of selecting the right drink for them.

A testament to the brand’s ambition and impressive growth, the larger warehouse format, covering approximately 1,750sq. ft, hosts the greatest Amathus portfolio yet; stocking around 2,000 individual products for consumers looking to discover a wide variety of wines and spirits. The team look forward to welcoming locals to the store, and have many tastings and events in the pipeline to encourage locals to stop by and interact with their impressive portfolio.
