#LearnLocal Campaign

Richmond Council in partnership with Richmond upon Thames College, Haymarket Media Group, Harlequins, Clarendon School and Achieving for Children have been working together to create an Education and Enterprise Campus on the College site on Egerton Road in Twickenham. The project is aimed at providing high quality education hand in hand with developing young people’s skills and offering opportunities for progression for local, national and international students. St Mary’s University

Established in 1850 and with a deep heritage in education, St Mary’s has a strong reputation for teaching excellence and a student-centred approach. The university’s current estate is in four parts. The main campus is on Waldegrave Road in Twickenham within the grounds of Strawberry Hill House, hall residence located at 16 Strawberry Hill Road, the main sports fields located on the Teddington Lock campus in Broom Road, Teddington and the new Naylor Library (also on Waldegrave Road) which opened in the autumn of 2015. In addition, the university offer wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes ranging from sport to communications, business to drama and from politics to teaching.

Key Stage 1-4 Education for Children

Below you will find some great fun, interactive online resources for children supplied from our great attractions. In addition, the Barnes Children Literature Festival YouTube channel has over thirty author and illustrator events from our virtual festival last year. As well as, their own Lockdown Library with thirty-five fun read along picture books with a new book added each week.
