Richmond upon Thames has a phenomenal range of attractions for all kinds of visitors. It’s home to an abundance of Royal History, picturesque landscapes, hidden gems, for those looking to find something off the beaten track, and a great wealth of entertainment; from live music venues to award winning theatres. Richmond upon Thames is a destination you can visit all year round however it is particularly beautiful during the warmer months with people gathering on Richmond Riverside soaking in the sights of the sublime River Thames or cheering on teams during the annual Great River Race.

Following on the nature route, Richmond upon Thames is also home to Richmond Park, London’s largest Royal Park with 2,500 acres of hills, woodlands, gardens and grassland. Marble Hill House is one of the hidden gems in Richmond upon Thames, not many people know about this elegant Palladian villa. It was built in the 1720’s for Henrietta Howards and is located along the River Thames, this makes it the perfect spot for those looking to explore the gorgeous Thames as well as soak in some local history. Because of its location Marble Hill House is reachable from Ham House and Gardens courtesy of Hammertons Passenger Ferry.
