About

The Orange Tree 15-18 Youth Theatre is an opportunity for young people interested in performing and theatre-making to have fun, be creatively challenged and collaborate with like-minded people. You will be taught by experienced directors, theatre-makers and actors to be bold, creative and passionate in your work during engaging weekly sessions.

Members meet once a week and over the year will:

play lots of games

explore creative expression in a safe and supportive environment

have an annual exciting opportunity to perform on the OT stage

learn a range of theatre-making skills including devising, improvisation, ensemble work, movement and vocal techniques, directing, writing, character development and rehearsal processes

receive a Masterclass from OT staff to gain a wider understanding of how a theatre building operates

receive a free ticket for a group trip to a show per term
