Books on The Rise will host an exhibition dedicated to local women’s art, open for pre-launch view from Saturday, 11th of November. In total, 13 painters and one potter will showcase their work, some of them for the first time. The official opening of the exhibition “Unlocking Women’s Art” will coincide with the launch of a new book by the same title by P. L. Henderson, on Saturday the 18th at 3pm. The book is published by Aurora Metro/Supernova Books. This exhibition will run until the 24th of December and over 50 artworks will be shown, including paintings and ceramics.
