The Great Baldini Presents... Magic of the Maestro

About

The Great Baldini is a magical legend, a relict of the music halls and a theatrical performer of the old school. Known throughout the world as ‘The Emperor of Illusion’, ‘The Prince of Prestidigitation’, and ‘The Maharajah of Mystery’, he is a hugely entertaining stage magician.

He has astounded audiences from the Edinburgh Fringe to Radio 4 listeners (where he performed on-air magic for “Front Row” and “Pick of the Week”).  On Thursday 27 March, he presents a the Magic of the Maestro at OSO for one night only!

In the show, Baldini shares his private collection of Magic Effects and Curiosities assembled over his 140 years career as a performing magician.  140 years!?  Well that’s another story. It is a compilation of conjuring, a miscellany of mystery, an assemblage of aberration: Magic that has been bought, borrowed and stolen from the titans of Magic – Houdini, Crowley, Maskelyne, and…Daniels.

A joyously silly romp through magic.

The Great Baldini is a member of the Magic Circleand an award-winning Stage Magician.

“Incredible” Front Row, BBC Radio 4

“Wonderful, a joy” Pick of the Week, BBC Radio 4

“Charming, engaging and charismatic. A pleasure.” FringeReview

“A seasoned professional, with excellent command of the stage.” Broadway Baby
