About

Join our informal group of art lovers, artists, writers, and more known as 'Palimpsest Projects' this winter as we continue our series of free, open-participation 'Storied Walks' at Richmond Green.

With gratitude to Richmond Council's Civic Pride Fund, all participants of the public are warmly welcomed to explore techniques of 'deep mapping' while ambling together through the Green during this slower and more frosted season. We'll be critically examining the layers of history, memory and experience that coalesce in this unique place of English heritage, guided by art researcher Alice-Anne Psaltis. No experience needed!

The artistic research method of deep mapping is something that anyone can apply whilst walking – allowing you to express your lived experiences, stories, memories and senses as you perceive this civic space.

Meeting Location on the Green: Drinking Fountain at the South Corner (across from The Cricketers and The Prince's Head)
