About

Sheen Gate Choir and Richmond Orchestra join forces for a programme of French, German and American music celebrating Richmond's twin cities of Fontainebleau, France, Konstanz, Germany and Richmond, Virginia. The programme moves from Fauré's gentle hymn of mercy and redemption, to the jazz-infused vibrancy of Rhapsody in Blue, to Brahms' deeply humanistic, comforting affirmation of life and hope.

Fauré - Cantique de Jean Racine

Gershwin - Rhapsody in Blue
Brahms - Ein deutsches Requiem

Piano: Robert Bridge
Music Director: Penelope Jane Homer
Conductor: Martin Smith
