Digby Wheeler – Urban Beaver Reintroduction in London
Digby is Urban Rewilding Officer at Citizen Zoo, a social enterprise with a rapidly expanding portfolio of rewilding and conservation projects, including the recent water vole reintroduction in the Hogsmill River which was the subject of a previous group talk. Digby will tell us about the exciting Urban Beaver Reintroduction in the Borough of Ealing. The project is a collaboration between Ealing Wildlife Group, Citizen Zoo, Friends of Horsenden Hill and Ealing Council and the beavers are the first to make London their home for 400 years.
For non members of our RSPB local group there is a £5.00 donation payable at the event.
