Andy Sands – The Natural History of Upper Teesdale
An area of outstanding natural beauty in the North Pennines, Upper Teesdale has a unique flora of over 1,600 species of flowering plant and a rich array of wildlife. The talk will explain the complex relationships between the management of the land and its wonderful birds and wildlife: from upland farming and Hay meadows to driven grouse shooting on the moors. Upland birds including most British waders and birds of mountain and moorland will be covered. Andy's talks are packed with first class photographs. He has been photographing British wildlife for over 30 years and owns and runs Chiswick Camera Centre.
