About

Deeply embedded in the Petersham ethos, is the concept of slow food. Join us for a morning of inspiration and practical hands-on sowing and planting, as we celebrate the joys of growing vegetable and herbs organically.

During the workshop you will learn about the best crops to grow from seed, the art of succession planting and how to get the most out of your growing space for the season. You will then sow your own seed box to take away with you and get you prepared for the season ahead.

This course is suitable for gardeners of any skill, whether you have a balcony, windowsill or allotment.

As this is a hands-on workshop involving soil, it is recommended that you bring a gardening apron with you.

Light refreshments will be served on arrival.
