About

Kew EcoFair 2025

Following its huge success in 2023, Kew EcoFair is back on Saturday March 22nd 2025, at St Luke's Church, Kew, from 10am to 3pm.

This award-winning event for the whole family aims to bring together the community to inspire action on climate change. More than 500 visited in 2023 and the organising team won a Richmond Council Community Hero award for their efforts.

This year's fair will once again be officially opened by its patron broadcaster Jeremy Vine, London's Deputy Mayor for the Environment Mete Coban MBE, the Mayor of Richmond, Cllr Richard Pyne, and Bishop of Kingston Martin Gainsborough.

The action-packed day will feature:

- Inspiring talks on fast fashion, child-friendly streets, nature-friendly gardens, repairing, up-cycling and the future of Hammersmith Bridge
- Free bike health checks from The London Cycle Workshop
- Free kids activities - make a bird feeder, bug hotel and a bag, and take part in our recycling challenge!
- Repair Cafe with Kew Transition - bring your furniture, clothes and electrical items that need repair!
- A 'Good As New' clothes sale - refresh your wardrobe as we bring Vinted to your doorstep!
- Vegan 'Bake-Off' competition - enter your cake, have it judged and then leave it for others to buy!
- Ethical shopping, including refill, eco-products, home produce, 'regifted' and 'gardens in a jar'
- Try your luck on our 'Wishing Tree' to win prizes from local green businesses
- Delicious vegetarian lunches - soup and baguette, or jacket potato with cheese and beans - plus delicious vegan bakes!
