About
Humble Boy by Charlotte Jones
All is not well in the Humble Hive. Following his father's death, Felix Humble, returns to the family home from Cambridge to find his mother, Flora, contemplating re-marriage to George, the father of his ex-girlfriend, Rosie. As an Astro-physicist in search of a unified field theory, Felix realises that his search for unity must include his own chaotic family life.
First performed at the Royal National Theatre, Humble Boy has become a popular modern classic. With its echoes of Stoppard and Hamlet, its author describes it as, "a comedy about broken vows, failed hopes and the joys of beekeeping."
