About

This one-day gardening course is aimed at keen amateurs who wish to improve their knowledge of growing and maintaining plants in their garden.

You’ll learn about the essential conditions that ensure good growth, with a talk and demonstration on how to prepare soil before planting.

Pick up hints and tips on selecting plants, and how and when to plant trees, shrubs and herbaceous species.

We will also cover maintaining plants in the garden including elements such as pruning, feeding and identifying pests and diseases.

In just one day you'll get the basics to start preparing your own beautiful garden.
