About
Orleans House Gallery, set on the banks of the River Thames in beautiful gardens and woods, is on the look out for volunteers to join their busy team of community gardeners.
The team is led by a volunteer with over 50 years' experience in horticulture and is currently made up of over 12 enthusiastic people who meet each Wednesday morning for a couple of hours, working on the formal flower beds that surround the Gallery.
This is a fantastic opportunity to meet other people, enjoy being outside and make a real contribution to the cultural life of the borough - our visitors frequently comment on how lovely the garden is and that's thanks to our volunteers.
