Cat lovers, prepare for a truly pawsome Easter holiday club! Artists Mark and Ellie of Quickdraw Stories can't wait to lead three mornings of cat-themed comic drawing, crafts and storytelling.

Cats can be cute, mysterious, crazy or a little of all three, making them purrfect subjects for comics. Together we'll look at some great cartoon cats, from Garfield to Looshkin, practice fun drawing exercises and set our imaginations to creating cat comic stories.

Children are welcome to bring a favourite toy cat to keep them company and add to the cat café ambience!

 

Schedule:

(book a date individually or block book the full three days for a £5 discount)

Mon 7th April 9am-12pm: Cool Cats! Introduction to drawing cats and cat poses, creating a cat café comic

Tues 8th April 9am-12pm: Adventure Cats! Drawing cat action poses, creating cat adventure comics

Wed 9th April 9am-12pm: Crazy Cats! Drawing crazy cat poses, creating funny cat comics

 

Each session will include:

Drawing tutorial

Comic strip drawing

A short snack and drink break

Crafts

Optional show-and-tell

Essential info:

Before the club, we will give you our phone numbers in case you need them.

Prompt pickup at 12pm is essential. We are unable to extend childcare beyond the hours of the club.

Please send your child with a snack for break time and a water bottle. As mentioned above, they are very welcome to bring a cat toy.

All materials are supplied by us but children are welcome to bring favourite stationery if they like.

Mark and Ellie are DBS checked and trained in first aid.

Tickets are non-refundable within one week prior to the club start date.
