About

RG Productions presents direct from Chicago the Joseph Jefferson Best Actor Award winning production BEING SEEN by Richard Gustin starring Kelly Anne Clark and 14-time Midwest Emmy winner Will Clinger. European premiere.

An actor answers an audition notice and encounters a highly acclaimed director who is perhaps more than they can handle. Wits and instincts collide as the actor maneuvers through the web of the director's process. A fast-paced comedy with a dark underbelly.

“Exhilarating theatre, brilliantly scripted. . .simultaneously comedic and thought-provoking.”

Hy Bender – New York

“There are two excellent reasons to recommend this production: Will Clinger and Kelly Anne Clark. Actually, Clark is so good that she counts double.”

~ Kerry Reid – Chicago’s Reader

“Being Seen is a twisted comedy. . .wickedly smart. . .the conversations are genius. . .never a dull moment. . .the storytelling is sharp and precise.”

~NY Theatre in The Now

“90 minutes of pure theatre magic.”

~ Al Bresloff “Around The Town Chicago”

“For those who love theater, “Being Seen” is a delicious window into the heart of the actors’ world . . . tension and humor that at its best moments reminded me of Tom Stoppard, with notes of Pinter.

~ Bill Esler – Buzz Center Chicago

“It's a timely piece, especially relevant in our current era of gig workers, toxic politicians, and cancel culture. This delightfully insidious production brings abuse of power to light with equal parts horror and hilarity.”

~ Bonnie Kenaz-Mara – Chicago
