Be Wild Art Trail

About

Be Richmond is thrilled to announce the arrival of the acclaimed Gillie and Marc 'Chimps are Family' art installation, to Richmond town centre.

These striking bronze chimpanzee statues, each crafted with the renowned artistry of Gillie and Marc will be in Richmond for the next 12 months.

From 12th June to 31st August, visitors will have the opportunity to explore Richmond town centre by following a specially created chimp footprint trail. Along the way, they will discover each statue and learn fascinating facts about chimpanzees and their natural habitats. Each chimp displays a different fact educating us about chimps and highlighting the importance of wildlife conservation.

Be Richmond is partnering with WWF to support the conservation of chimpanzees in the wild. This collaboration aims to raise awareness and generate donations for the ongoing efforts to protect these remarkable creatures and their environments.

Be Richmond invites everyone to explore the 'Chimps are Family' trail, engage with the thought-provoking art, and support the vital cause of wildlife conservation.
