About
Aimed at people living and working in the town, it's hoped the new initiative will provide a healthy lunchtime respite from the busy working week.
The official launch of 'Be Well Wednesdays' will feature a live guided version of a 'Green and Grounding' walk with SoulHub's Andrew Cuerden.
The walk is designed to facilitate deeper presence and peace through embodied awareness.
Setting off from the Little Green it will go through Richmond Green and along the river before finishing at the Brunch and Brew at 1.15pm.
Following the launch, both the 'Green and Grounding' walk and a second 'Flow of Inspiration' walk also narrated by Andrew will be free to download with directions and mindfulness exercises available en route via a series of QR codes.
"Be Well Wednesdays offer lunchtime activities to provide a healthy respite from your bustling working day," said Louise Abbotts, Be Richmond's Chief Operating Officer.
"They are designed to be a relaxing and revitalising midweek pause from the relentless demands of modern life. Stepping away from tasks and engaging in different pursuits during your break can recharge you mentally and physically, enhancing both well-being and productivity," she added.
Be Well Wednesdays are part of a series of initiatives, activities and events organised by Be Richmond, the Business Improvement District (BID) for Richmond town centre.
Be Richmond's purpose is to represent and support Richmond BID levy payers, and to promote Richmond town centre as a great place to live, work and explore.
