BCA Turkey Run

About

The Barnes Runners are back in the morning of Sunday 1 December, completing a 10k or 10m run along the towpath in Barnes. The Tiny Turkeys kids' 1 mile race will also return alongside.

Assembly point for bag drop and bib collection will be the Coach & Horses pub on Barnes High Street from 9am and the races start at 10am.

Advance ticket sales can be bought online - with a hefty discount for members of the BCA and Barnes Runners and general sale (non-discounted) tickets can be bought on the day at registration at the Coach & Horses on Barnes High Street.

The event is now in its eighth year and proceeds go to support East Sheen Carers Mental Health Support Group Christmas celebrations and the BCA/FiSH Christmas Day lunch and its festive lunch deliveries for those locally who would otherwise be alone or go without.

The Ginger Pig are donating a turkey for the best dressed turkey runner and Cote are providing a £50 voucher for a hungry race winner - and the Coach & Horses in Barnes will supply all participants with a beer and a turkey (or veggie) bap to refuel them after their endeavours!
