Mike and Leo

About

Florence 1505.

The two greatest artists the world has ever seen, Leonardo and Michelangelo, are commissioned to paint vast battle scenes on opposite walls of a chamber in the Palazzo Vecchio – at the same time.

They do not get on.

In Leo and Mike their extraordinary rivalry comes to life before us.

What might have passed between them? What might they have said? And what would it be like to be a fly on the wall while these two incomparable geniuses lock horns and try to settle their differences?

Leo and Mike plunges us into a world of hilarious and titanic contention, out of which Mona Lisas, statues of David, Vitruvian Men, and Sistine Chapel ceilings fall almost as if by accident.

A fascinating romp through the mind of genius and the world of art, Leo and Mike will delight all lovers of art and comedy.
