Meet Jackie

She has been a volunteer at the VisitRichmond Information Kiosk since May 2016, almost 10 years wow!

Jackie came about volunteering when she met Angela and they discussed her likeness for the borough and where she lives. She has thoroughly enjoyed volunteering and her favourite place to visit is the National Archives in Kew where she can read up on the navy lists and find the names of her and her friends who served in the Queen Alexandras Naval Service.

Other places she enjoys visiting are Kew Gardens, The London Wetland Centre in Barnes and Richmond and Twickenham Museum.

She ends the interview with - “There are so many places to visit and all the information available is at the kiosk, we can also recommend restaurants, cafes, hotels.”
