About

Materialistic Curtain and Carpet Studio is an independent family business run by Ian and Kay Wood that offers a complete in-home personalised service that will turn your ideas into reality. We offer advice and suggest fabrics and then measure and estimate - all of which is free.

Materialistic has fabrics to suit all tastes, styles and budgets from all the major brands and with years of experience we can quickly match a customer's desires with the right supplier.

Whatever treatment you require for your window - be it curtains, blinds, pelmets, valances or swags and tails - Materialistic can create it. From pinch pleat to pencil heading or goblets to eyelets, anything is possible.

It's not just curtains, blinds and fabric that Materialistic can supply... Loose covers, carpets, wallpaper, poles and tracks are all available, enabling you to create a fully coordinated look for your room.

Ian and Kay, who have more than 40 years experience in the soft furnishing trade, personally supervise and make most of the curtains, blinds, pelmets and cushions. Their son David fits all curtain tracks, poles and curtains with the help of their grandson Alex. Their daughter Theresa hand makes all Loose Covers and their other daughter Terina hand makes curtains and pelmets.
