An award winning charity and Riding for the Disabled Association centre. Striving to be a place where horses help people and people help horses, always leaving happier than when they arrived.


Their main yard is located on a residential street just a few minutes walk from Royal Bushy Park and just 1 mile from Hampton Court Palace. A truly urban riding school in London.

Road Directions

By car

 

Take the private road to the left opposite the Fox & Duck pub, signposted to Park Lane Stables RDA. Look for the black Park Lane Stables sign on the right just before the Ham Polo Club field.

 

Limited free parking is available on site for RDA participants only. For visitors with impaired mobility easy drop-off is available right outside the Stables. Free parking is available at the Ham Street car park on the riverside, 15 minutes’ walk away.

Public Transport Directions

The nearest railway station is Richmond, with overground trains from Waterloo, and District Line underground services.

 

Frequent 65 and 371 bus services from the station (stop D) take about 15 minutes to the Petersham Fox & Duck/Sandpits Road stop, which is then 5 minutes’ walk.

 

A taxi takes 10 minutes, or walking along the river from Richmond station takes 30 minutes.

 

If coming on foot or by bike from Twickenham, you can also take Hammertons Ferry across the river from Twickenham riverside (near Marble Hill House) to Ham between 10am and 6pm, March-October. Tide-dependent.
