About

The Horse Rangers Association (HRA) is a registered charity based at the Royal Mews, Hampton Court.

It focuses on teaching young people horsemanship and how to care for horses and ponies. It is not a typical riding school; instead HRA uses the horses and ponies to help Rangers in their own personal development. They rely on voluntary monthly subscriptions for most of their income, supplemented by fund raising and charitable donations. Special events are held regularly to help raise funds for the organisation, and own band and musical ride display team can also be booked to perform in the local area.

HRA's mission is to provide a healthy and fulfilling opportunity for young people, regardless of background and ability, to develop character, responsibility and a concern for animals, the world we live in and other people, in a safe and enjoyable environment.

Much of its Special Needs activities come under the umbrella of the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), of which HRA is a member group.
