Classic wedding

Enjoy our classic architecture and spectacular garden views to create stunning memories for you and your guests.

This classic wedding experience offers the chance to mark your special day in some of our most-loved locations – The Nash Conservatory, The Princess of Wales Conservatory and the Orangery. 

 

Classic ceremony 

Exchange your vows in the Nash Conservatory, an enchanting 19th century glasshouse. With capacity for a civil ceremony of up to 200 guests and floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, this stunning glasshouse provides an abundance of natural daylight, filling the space with a warm glow all year round.

 

Drinks reception  

Serve drinks on the secluded lawn behind the Conservatory or nearby in the colourful Princess of Wales Conservatory, a unique glasshouse with ten climate zones. While your guests enjoy their drinks, you’ll have time to tour the Gardens in an escorted buggy for photos in our most scenic locations.  

 

Dinner dance at The Orangery  

Continue your celebrations into the night in the Orangery. A Grade I listed building, the Orangery is an ideal setting for your wedding reception and dinner dance. With high ceilings and grand, arched windows, it offers space to celebrate in an atmosphere that is both stylish and serene.  

 

Intimate wedding

Celebrate with loved ones in our ideal boutique venue – the perfect setting for an intimate wedding in any season.

Cambridge Cottage is the perfect setting for an intimate wedding with your nearest and dearest. 

This charming period building accommodates up to 80 guests for a seated ceremony and reception dinner,  and a full evening capacity of 120.  

For an indoor celebration, enjoy the relaxed elegance of the Drawing Room before moving through to the Gallery for dinner surrounded by some of our finest botanical artwork.  

The Drawing Room and Gallery open onto the picturesque and secluded Duke's Garden, a refreshing green space for outdoor drinks and photographs.  

Alternatively, you can celebrate outdoors and exchange your vows framed by the French doors of the Drawing Room while your guests look on from the lawn of the Duke’s Garden.  

Offering the flexibility you need, Cambridge Cottage provides the best of Kew on an intimate scale – all within easy reach of central London.

Luxury dinner dance

A glistening cathedral, the freshly restored venue is home to 10,000 species of plants from the world’s temperate zones, offering you and your guests a rare opportunity to dine and dance in a space that is truly alive.   

 

South Asian wedding

Turn our remarkable, world-class settings into a captivating backdrop for your special day.

Combining elements of our classic package with a touch of luxury, this experience is designed to host your South Asian wedding within Kew’s largest and most extraordinary spaces.

Our South Asian wedding package includes the Nash Conservatory, the Princess of Wales Conservatory, and a choice between The Orangery or Temperate House.

 

Religious ceremony  

Begin your wedding day surrounded by lush greenery with a religious blessing in the enchanting Nash Conservatory. With capacity for 200 guests and natural light pouring through floor-to-ceiling windows, this glasshouse is an elegant and versatile space to make your own.   

 

Drinks reception  

After your ceremony, serve drinks on the secluded lawn behind the Conservatory or nearby in the colourful Princess of Wales Conservatory, Kew’s tropical glasshouse.

You’ll have time to tour the Gardens in an escorted buggy for photos in our most scenic locations while your guests enjoy their drinks.  

 

Dinner dance  

To continue your celebrations into the evening, we offer a choice between the classic elegance of the Orangery or our most iconic venue, Temperate House.  

 

The Orangery  

A Grade I listed building, the Orangery is an ideal setting for your wedding reception. The large, open plan design can accommodate up to 200 guests for a seated dinner dance. With high ceilings and grand, arched windows, the room is filled with natural light – inviting you to celebrate in an atmosphere that is both stylish and serene.  

During the summer months your guests can relax on the Orangery’s large terrace, gazing out onto the majestic Great Broad Walk Borders, a stunning promenade at the heart of Kew.

 

Temperate House  

The world’s largest Victorian glasshouse, the Temperate House is the perfect location for a breathtaking celebration. This spectacular venue can host up to 230 guests for your evening dinner dance.  

A glistening cathedral, the freshly restored venue is home to 10,000 species of plants from the world’s temperate zones, offering you and your guests a rare opportunity to dine and dance in a space that is truly alive.

 

Civil ceremonies

Exchange your marriage vows in our elegant surroundings by hosting a civil ceremony at Kew.

Enjoy a civil ceremony in the unique surroundings of our Gardens for a day that is truly your own.

Choose between the intimate walls of Cambridge Cottage or the high ceilings of the Nash Conservatory to mark the occasion. 

 

Cambridge Cottage

Simple and sophisticated, this glasshouse can accommodate up to 200 guests, seated or standing. After your ceremony, you may serve drinks on the secluded lawn behind the Conservatory before moving on to your reception venue to continue the celebrations.   

If you do choose to host your ceremony elsewhere, the Nash Conservatory and lawn is also available for pre-dinner drinks as part of a multi-venue experience.
