Willow Christmas Trees

About

Come and join us for a morning of creativity and learn how to weave an assortment of different festive willow decorations.

This workshop is a perfect introduction to the traditional craft of willow basketry. Yeoman basketmaker Eleanor Morgan will teach you how to weave different styles of decorations, from mini wreaths to Christmas trees, garlands and stars. You'll then have plenty of time to experiment and make several decorations of your own.

We'll be using some foraged material, as well as Somerset grown willow, to make the decorations.

All materials and tools will be supplied, along with tea, coffee and homemade cake and mince pies.

We're also very happy to run this class as a bespoke party or as an alternative team building event for companies. Just mail us on craft@handmadeworkshops.co.uk for more information.
