Born on a Slave ship in the Atlantic ocean, Sancho became a writer, composer, shopkeeper and respected 'man of letters' in 18th Century Britain, and one of the first recorded people of African descent to vote in the UK.
Blending story-telling, improvisation, music, performance and a touch of audience interaction, every telling of Sancho's story is unique and unexpected.
