RichmondLive Festival is BACK!

Join us on the 14th and 15th of September on the beautiful grounds of Marble Hill House for a celebration of MUSIC and DANCE… all for FREE!
In collaboration with English Heritage VisitRichmond are hosting RichmondLive Festival, feedback from previous years has meant we’ve had to make the event bigger and better than before. RichmondLive Festival is all about bringing people together to have fun and be inspired!
There is something for everyone, this is an amazing opportunity for local groups and individuals to showcase their talents. With plenty to enjoy on the day... try a taster class from ballet to tango or why not create your very own unique piece of art.
If you see something you are keen to be part of, there will be opportunities on the day to sign up to join the groups and get involved.
We will be starting our mornings off with Yoga from Tina then the performances will begin! There's dance from all over the world and music of all kinds of genres.

Saturday 14 September
11am – 11.45am Yoga with Lotus and Laurel
Bringing Marble Hill Community Yoga to Richmond Live.
Tina is a local yoga teacher and yoga teacher trainer, passionate about making yoga accessible to everyone - all abilities and ages. She believes we can all practice yoga and yoga is for all.

11.50am – 12.50pm Ukrainian Dance ensemble “Stefania”
“Stefania” has united professional and semi-professional dancers from Ukrainian cities, affected by the war. They have been performing in the UK folk and contemporary dances from different parts of Ukraine since April 2022.
1pm - 1.30pm Powerjam Band Project
Powerjam Band Project, the Twickenham-based not-for-profit band academy for ages 9-18, presents "BlueZd (ages 11-14), a blues-rock Powerjam band who were the only youth band to perform at Ealing Blues Festival 3 years in a row, and graduated to the mainstage this year. They represented the UK and Powerjam in New York City at the International Teen Band Festival last summer! Powerjam professionally recorded and released their debut original single this year through Powerjam Recordings, the label that allows young musicians to retain full copyrights of their songs
1.40pm - 1.50pm Boundless Dance
Boundless offer fun and dynamic Dance, Drama, Singing & Theatre Classes for ages 4 through to adults. All classes are delivered in a relaxed setting where individuality and creativity come to life. They pride themselves on offering a very personable and friendly experience to all abilities.
Boundless’ main aim is to increase motor-skills, confidence, performance skills, social ability and to stand as an individual, as well as learn how to work together as a team.
2pm - 2.40pm Freedom Tango
Freedom Tango has been providing social tango classes and events for adults in Teddington and Richmond for twenty years, also providing workshops and tasters for community groups, social centres, street parties and festivals.
2.50pm - 3.20pm DramaCube
The award-winning Dramacube Youth Theatre (13-18yrs) will be performing the musical theatre hits you’ll all know and love at Richmond live this year.
Dramacube run term time musicals productions for 8-18 year olds and Mini Musical classes for 5-7 year olds in Hampton Hill, Twickenham and Teddington.
Every child – regardless of their experience – has a part to play in a Dramacube production and given the opportunity to shine on stage at Hampton Hill Theatre.

Tuesday Blue is a hugely entertaining trio featuring powerhouse vocalist Sarah, with Nick on keys and Graham on sax. With an infectious blend of popular songs rearranged with a jazz twist, this trio will have you tapping your feet and dancing along in no time.
12.30pm - 1pm Upahaar School of Dance
Founded by Shalini Shivashankar in 2003 with the simple desire to share the joy experienced from expressing and communicating through dance. The school aims to bring Indian classical dance to every sector of the community through its various activities and events, highlighting the organisation’s commitment and dedication to promoting arts.
1.10pm - 1.30pm Lauren Haith School of Dance
Lauren Haith School of Dance is an inclusive dance school for children and adults based in Hampton. Offering classes in Ballet, Contemporary and more - sign up now for your free trial lesson!
1.40pm - 2pm Marble Hill Dance Studio
Marble Hill Dance Studio offers a wide range of dance classes, from pre-primary ballet through to graded and vocational level classical ballet training. We also offer contemporary, modern, tap, street dance, singing, LAMDA, musical theatre and creative dance classes for children and adults.
2.10pm - 3pm O'Connor Irish Dance
3.10pm - 3.40pm Twickenham Academy of Dance
Twickenham Academy of Dance has been providing dance training to girls and boys from Richmond, St Margarets, Twickenham, Isleworth and Whitton for 25 years, consistently maintaining very high standards and a 100% exam pass rate.
They are dedicated to providing a unique experience for each pupil. They teach classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Street Dance, Limbering and Musical Theatre and, upon invitation, pupils can also compete in Dance Festivals.
4pm - 5pm DanceWest
DanceWest is an award winning charity that has pioneered high-quality dance programmes since 2014 offering a creative response to issues including poor health, socio-economic disadvantage and unequal access to physical activity. DanceWest was founded by Rosie Whitney-Fish with a mission to enable everyone to have access to dance.
They provide free & low cost dance, health and wellbeing activities co-designed with participants and partners. Transforming the health and wellbeing of vulnerable and diverse communities. Their sole aim is to keep the community healthy and happy by participating in dance.
