Quest: Meet the Brewer – Disruption Is Brewing

Date: November 7th, 2024
Location: Brewery Market

Adventurers, gather ‘round! On the night of November 7th, Brewery Market transforms into a realm of legendary ales and daring quests. In honour of the 50th anniversary of the original Dungeons & Dragons game, you are summoned to take part in a Tap Takeover by the revered Disruption Is Brewing. This night will be fuled with epic encounters, exclusive brews, and a few surprises along the way.

The Main Quest: Disruption Is Brewing Tap Takeover

The bar is stocked with some of the finest ales known across the land. Behold the Attributes Beer Series, each brew crafted with the spirit of the great adventurers:

Attributes Beer Series:

Constitution – A brew that fortifies the body. Only 12 cans available for the strongest among you.

Intelligence – A clever, complex brew. On tap and 12 cans ready for those who seek to sharpen their wits.

Wisdom – A drink for the insightful. On tap and 12 cans for those seeking the path of knowledge.

Charisma – A charming brew to sway the hearts of many. On tap and 12 cans for the most charismatic of adventurers.

Other Legendary Brews:

Chaos More Chaos – A 5% NEPA for the brave souls who embrace the unpredictable. Only 12 cans on the night.

Death By Confetti Cannon – An 8% DIPA for those who revel in chaos and destruction. Only 12 cans available.

Maelstrom (Peanut Butter) – An 8.5% stout, rich and bold for the stout-hearted. Only 12 cans.

Talk To Your Alchemist 4 – A 6.3% Trifle Sour, for those who dare explore new alchemical concoctions. On tap and 12 cans available for those wanting to pick up some magic spells.

Side Quests and Activities:

Your night is not just about drinking, but about proving your worth. Alongside the brews, there are challenges to be met and rewards to be claimed:

Meet the Brewer – Converse with the brewers behind Disruption Is Brewing, roll against these 'keepers of wisdom' and unlock the secrets of their magical creations.

Create Your Character – Choose your path on the night! Character sheets await, and you can take on the role of:

Fighting-Men – Brave warriors such as elves, dwarves, and hobbits.

Magic-Users – Mystics of the arcane, drawn from men and elves.

Clerics – Holy warriors of faith, exclusive to men in the original rules.

Bring Your Own Dice – Roll your fate! Bring your own dice set, or borrow from us if your luck runs thin.

Hidden Treasures – Scattered throughout the shop are gold pieces, daggers, magical items, and even extra lives, but not all treasures can be claimed by everyone. Only those with enough XP and the right level will be able to seize the most valuable prizes.

Interactive Areas – Marked out by tape for some fun, the shop will have different zones to explore. Visit the market area, engage in some light trading, or discover other magical spots. These areas may not be fully immersive, but they’ll add a bit of fun interaction as you sip your way through the night.

Test Your Luck and Win Exclusive Merch:

Beware, adventurers! Hidden throughout the night are chances to win rare Disruption Is Brewing merchandise. Keep your eyes sharp and your wits sharper—only the most cunning will claim these rewards.

An Epic Event for Heroes of All Levels:

Whether you’ve come alone or with a party, there’s a place for you at our table. Just like the original 1974 rules state, anywhere from 4 to 50 adventurers can participate in this epic night. All you need is your courage and your thirst for adventure (and maybe a tankard or two, available to buy on the night).

So, brave adventurers, ready yourselves. Prepare your character sheet, bring your dice, and set off on a night of quests, brews, and legendary tales. Only the boldest will drink their fill and walk away victorious.

Adventurers are encouraged to bring along their favorite props and items to enhance the fun! Dust off your dice sets, don your best costumes, and arm yourself with toy swords, spellbooks, or potion bottles. Whether it’s a trusty tavern mugfor your brews, a bag of gold coins for bartering in the market, these small touches will add to the excitement and make the night even more immersive!

The quest begins soon - keep an eye on our socials for more info!
