At the heart of PYJÆN lies the chemistry between its members: original founders Ben Vize (saxophone) Dylan Jones (trumpet), Benjamin Crane (bass), and Charlie Hutchinson (drums), along with their newest addition, Tjoe Man Cheung, on guitar.
PYJÆN seamlessly melds funk, afro-beat and contemporary sounds with nods to hip-hop and disco, whilst acknowledging the traditional era of 1920s jazz and dance music. This innovative band offers a fresh take on live music, creating sounds that appeal to both jazz enthusiasts and modern music lovers.
