Pop-Up Dementia Information Day

About

Dementia Friendly Communities Richmond (DFCR)is hosting a "Pop up Dementia Information Day" during Dementia Action Week. Join us for tea, cake and conversations about dementia. We will be joined by Alzheimer's Society Richmond, An Admiral Nurse from Richmond Community Dementia Service and other professionals working to help make our borough more dementia friendly. Home care provider Visiting Angels will deliver Ba Duan Jin Exercises. We'll hear about the Mental Health Capacity Act from Find Better Care. Brighter Together will discuss their intergenerational work. This is an opportunity to learn more about this disease that directly affects almost 1 million people in the UK. And a chance for us to hear how we can make our borough more inclusive for people with dementia and their care givers. This event is free to attend.
