About

NPL Open Day is a very special day when we open our doors to you, the public!

Come along to find out more about our work on keeping the UK's national timescale ticking and how we are using quantum technology to tackle society's big challenges.

You will have the chance to look around our labs, speak with our expert scientists, and get curious about all things science.

Pop outside to our marquee for an exciting liquid nitrogen show, and have a look at everything from the history of computing to thermal imaging.

Tickets are £3 each, with the money donated to our partner charity, and children go free!
