Hampton Pool Concert with Nik Kershaw and Chesney Hawkes on Friday 11 July

About

Come and join Nik Kershaw and his special guest Chesney Hawkes for all their iconic hits, plus some new tracks, at the first of the 2025 Hampton Pool Summer Picnic Concerts.

Singer-songwriter Nik Kershaw established himself as a master of 80s pop with his Brit-nominated debut album 'Human Racing', featuring the hit singles 'I Won't Let The Sun Go Down On Me' and 'Wouldn't It Be good'. He left the spotlight in the late 80s to focus on song writing and production, returning to touring and releasing original music almost a decade later.

Nik Kershaw and Chesney Hawkes rarely appear on the same bill, despite their association going back to 1991 when Kershaw wrote and co-produced Hawkes' ubiquitous hit 'The One and Only'. He also plays guitar on Hawkes' latest single 'Live Forever' from the album 'Living Arrows', scheduled for release in April this year.

About the venue
Hampton Pool, often described as one of SW London's best-kept secrets, is a hidden gem nestled beside Bushy Park. This heated open-air oasis is centre stage for the legendary Hampton Pool Summer Picnic Concerts.

Our concerts have a laid-back vibe as well as an unbeatable location. Dive in for a refreshing complimentary swim, gather with friends for a few drinks, a leisurely picnic, and let the music move you. Whether you're swaying to the rhythm or dancing like nobody's watching, there's no better way to spend a summer evening.
