Inspired by Henrietta Howard, the visionary behind Marble Hill, a series of five inspirational women events to inspire your inner entrepreneur are set to be held at Richmond and Hillcroft Adult Community College.
Sponsored by English Heritage, National Lottery Heritage Fund and Visit Richmond, these ticketed events will be held across June and July 2022, with all tickets including a glass of wine, networking opportunities and a marketplace to promote local businesses.
The series will commence on Thursday 9 June with Do what you love and love what you do, a lecture presented by the founder of NotontheHighStreet.com Holly Tucker and the co-owner of Bingham Riverhouse Samantha Trinder.
This is followed by Finding my voice: My Journey as an Independent Artist lecture by Grace Savage, a UK Female Beatboxing Champion, on Thursday 16 June. The power of dance lecture by Helen Shute, the Chief Executive and Executive Producer of Ballet Rambert will be the third entry into the series then takes place on Thursday 30 June.
A Loving the local lecture by Desiree Shepherd, Cornelia Costeanu (Found of Maker's United) and Susie Bush-Ramsey (Creator of Take 7 Simple Steps) will be held at RHACC on Thursday 14 July, before the final lecture on Thursday 28 July, which will be given by Historian Dr. Tessa Kilgariff, Bryony Metcalf of Ignite Me Theatre Co., and Kate Mavor, the CEO of English Heritage.
Ticket cost £5 donation to support White Ribbon charity for those suffering domestic abuse and English Heritage which cares for over 400 locations across the country.
