About

High Tide is a free to attend, not for profit community music festival. High Tide is themed around high quality bands/artists drawing from the best young, local and established performers. Our plan for High Tide 2025 is to also take inspiration from the Council's "Twinning Reaffirmation" celebrations, and to bring even further to the fore, the cross cultural contribution that music makes to our community and society as a whole.
High Tide aims to be a 'proper' music festival featuring high class artists on professionally managed stages. All of the artists and stage managers are paid properly for their time and talent. The festival directors receive no recompense for their work, it's a labour of love!
High Tide will celebrate the Twinning Reaffirmation in a range of ways which could include:
• German and French food/drinks area
• Free market pitches on the festival footprint for 'Richmond in Europe' and other relevant groups
• Double page spreads in the festival programme. 1000 copies distributed to attendees
• A 'Twinning' page on www.hightidetwick.com and promotion through the @hightidetwick Instragram account
• Flags on Church Street. State flags or 3 nations combined
• Invitation to a delegation from twin towns' music related institutions
• Featured Bands/artists from twin towns
