About

Join our garden team in the Chiswick House woodland areas this half term for two family-friendly volunteering sessions, carrying out a range of important tasks that will help contribute to our ambitious new 'Letting the light in' project.

There will be something suitable for all ages, with planned tasks including the creation of insect habitats, planting bulbs, and working with the gardens team on other woodland-based work. Participants will also get a chance to talk to our gardeners about how the work they're doing will boost biodiversity, encourage more insects, birds and other animals, and protect mature trees.

This event is open to all adults and children aged 8+. Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult. Appropriate gardening clothing and footwear is essential.

This is a free, voluntary event however you must register on our website.
