About

Make your Christmas even more special with handwritten calligraphy gift tags, wrapping paper and place cards!

Why not treat yourself to a relaxing morning of creativity with our introduction to the wonderful world of modern brush calligraphy?

Ideal for both beginners and those wanting to improve on their existing skills, this workshop will take you from the basics of modern calligraphy to being able to produce your own beautiful gift tags, cards and gift wrap for your loved ones.

During the workshop, expert calligrapher Claire Coppard will show you how calligraphy letters are formed, when to apply pressure and how to develop the techniques needed to create beautiful bespoke lettering, leaving you with all the knowledge needed to create your own beautiful bespoke lettering. You'll then have plenty of time to practise, using a quality brush pen provided for use during the class.

We'll also give you coffee and tea to help your creativity!

Participant numbers will be kept low to make sure that you have plenty of opportunities for help and to ask any questions you may have.

Materials will be available to buy from Claire at the end of the workshop if you're bitten by the calligraphy bug.
