Hand drawn vase of flowers

About

Why not come along to our latest relaxing drawing class and treat yourself to a wonderful Sunday afternoon of creative escape?

In this informative and fun workshop you'll be studying ellipses and the fractured light that you see when you look through water.

Experienced teacher and professional artist Karen Iredale will demonstrate simple drawing techniques using pencils and biro pens to draw glass vases filled with water.

You'll then have plenty of time to experiment with the techniques, whilst completing your own drawing of a glass vase filled with flowers.

We'll have a range of different vases for you to draw, but feel free to bring any of your own too!

The workshop is suitable for both absolute beginners and those with a little drawing experience.

All materials will be provided, together with lots of tea, coffee and homemade cake.

"Learnt a lot. Very inspiring. I definitely improved my drawing skills"
