Creative Writing

About

This creative writing course is designed for those who have always wanted to write but aren't sure where to start, as well as those who have been writing and sharing their work for some time.

Each session will begin with a writing prompt, and students will share their pieces in a friendly, supportive environment the following week. Alongside writing, you'll explore the craft of writing, including characterisation, dialogue, setting, plot, and more.

You'll also be encouraged to offer constructive feedback to your fellow students, focusing on positive aspects of the work and offering suggestions for improvement. Whether you're new to writing or want to hone your skills, this course will help you write with confidence and joy. Open to all adults, beginners, and intermediate writers—no experience required!

NB No class on 20 January
