City Funk Orchestra

About

City Funk Orchestra is widely feted as the capital’s best and most popular funk/soul dance band, playing to sold-out venues throughout London and the South. The band's ardent following quickly spread beyond the world of soul and funk aficionados to a much wider circle of live music fans and dance lovers who above all cherish CFO's genuine authenticity. They have been making regular festival appearances as a ‘specialist’ opening act for the likes of Average White Band and Kid Creole and the Coconuts and now 2025 sees them appearing amongst the headliners at the Saturday Love festival in North London where they’ve been enlisted to play an additional set as ‘backing band’ for legendary New Yorker and Festival headliner - ”Mr Funkin’ For Jamaica” - Tom Browne. The band open the Friday night session at the legendary long-established Cropredy Festival in August.
