Calligraphy with love

About

Why not treat yourself to a relaxing evening of creativity with an introduction to the the wonderful world of modern brush calligraphy?

This 2 hour brush pen calligraphy workshop offers an inspiring experience for all who seek to learn more about the beauty of the written word. Don't miss your chance to join us and unlock the hidden artist within you!

During the workshop, expert calligrapher Claire Coppard will show you how calligraphy letters are formed, when to apply pressure and how to develop the techniques needed to create beautiful bespoke lettering, leaving you with all the knowledge needed to make your own beautiful personalised cards and gifts. You'll then have plenty of time to practise, using a quality brush pen provided for use during the class.

Whether you're a seasoned calligrapher or a complete beginner, this workshop welcomes all skill levels and it makes a fabulous gift for creative friends and relatives too.

We'll also give you wine, soft drinks or coffee to help your creativity!

Participant numbers will be kept low to make sure that you have plenty of opportunities for help and to ask any questions you may have.

Materials will be available to buy from Claire at the end of the workshop if you're bitten by the calligraphy bug.
