Women rowing on a rowing machine

About

Prepare to fall in love with a new sport that's way more doable than you might think! Learn how to use rowing machines to increase your fitness. An expert rowing coach will teach you proper rowing technique, the same as if you were to row on the water. There will be a strong focus on posture and core engagement and a gradual build of cardiovascular fitness.

The course will be held indoors at Twickenham Rowing Club on beautiful Eel Pie Island in Twickenham. There will be time for a good chat over refreshments after each class.

Starts Wed, 26 Mar 2025, 11:30 and continues every Weds for 6 weeks.

Cost: £30 in total. For more information please contact wellbeing@ageukrichmond.org.uk or ring Carol on 0208 744 1965.

This course is for people over the age of 55 living in the borough of Richmond.
